Introducing the PAICE Pilot Program

Note: Since writing this introductory post, PAICE has formalized the Pilot Program offering — including defined deliverables, pricing, and compliance-ready reports. See those updated details at PAICE.work/pilot-program

Organizations are deploying AI faster than they can govern it. Tools are advancing quickly, but the human side of AI collaboration often remains unmeasured, uneven, and invisible. This creates real exposure for teams responsible for security, compliance, risk, and large-scale AI transformation.

The PAICE Pilot Program (PPP) is designed to give leaders clear visibility into how their workforce uses AI in real scenarios, without requiring accounts, personal data, or complex integrations. It provides the first measurable standard for responsible People+AI collaboration.

This pilot uses the existing PAICE.work Individual Assessment and adds a structured cohort process on top. It allows you to see your organization’s AI capability and risk profile before scaling AI adoption further.

What the Pilot Measures

The PAICE assessment evaluates how people work with AI in realistic, adaptive interactions. It captures behaviors that matter for risk, compliance, and operational readiness, including:

  • Verification and error detection
  • Bias awareness
  • Reasoning and decision quality
  • Alignment with internal AI use policies
  • Iteration strength
  • Secure information handling
  • Cross-model consistency

The result is a behavioral capability map that highlights strengths, blindspots, and variance across a group.

How the Pilot Works

The pilot uses a cohort identifier to group individual assessments anonymously. No personal identifiers are collected or stored.

Step 1: Setup

Your organization receives a unique assessment link such as:
https://paice.work/individual?p=yourorg_2026Q1

This link routes all assessment sessions into the correct cohort, and is identical for employees. No accounts or login are required.

Step 2: Assessment

Participants complete the PAICE assessment. Each person receives their own score, dimensional profile, and personalized suggestions for improvement immediately.

PAICE stores only:

  • A cohort identifier
  • A hashed session ID
  • A hashed pseudonymous user ID
  • Assessment outputs

No names, emails, or employee IDs are ever collected.

Step 3: Aggregation

PAICE aggregates the cohort results and analyzes patterns including:

  • Overall PAICE score™ distribution
  • Behavioral risk indicators
  • Cross-team variance
  • Outlier patterns
  • Longitudinal signals if multiple assessments are completed

Step 4: Executive Report

You receive a structured report covering:

  • Your organization’s AI capability baseline
  • Behavioral risks related to AI use
  • Key opportunities for improvement
  • Recommendations for governance, training, and policy alignment
  • A roadmap for improving AI readiness and reducing exposure

Step 5: Executive Readout

A 60-minute session with leadership walks through the findings and next steps.

What You Gain

  • Clear visibility into how people use AI in real scenarios
  • A measurable baseline for AI readiness
  • Insight into organizational risk exposure
  • Early identification of high-variance teams or workflows
  • A defendable governance artifact for leadership, auditors, or insurers
  • A foundation for scaling AI responsibly

Who This Is For

The pilot is designed for teams leading AI adoption and governance, including:

  • CISOs and Security teams
  • CAIOs and AI Transformation leaders
  • Risk and Compliance officers
  • Legal and Governance leaders
  • Operational leaders deploying AI in critical workflows

It is especially valuable for organizations in regulated sectors or those seeking to reduce the risk of AI-related incidents.

Pilot Timeline and Pricing

The standard pilot runs for 4 weeks and includes analysis, reporting, and a leadership readout. It is available for between 20 and 100 people, which can be a cross-section of AI users across your org, or focused to one select team or department. We currently have 5 such pilot slots remaining for January.

Pricing options are available for early partners, regulated industries, and academic research collaborations.
